Aventura Hospital and Medical Center—Miami, Florida
Aventura Hospital and Medical Center is a 407-bed, acute-care/medical surgical facility located between Miami and Fort Lauderdale. Aventura has been an integral part of South Florida for more than 30 years. Strategically situated to serve both Southeast Broward County and Northeast Dade County, AHMC has more than 800 physicians on staff, and more than 1,000 employees.

Fletcher Allen Health Care—Burlington, Vermont
Through its alliance with the University of Vermont, Fletcher Allen is able to provide the best patient care possible by bringing medical education and research to the bedside. Serving a population of one million throughout Vermont and northern New York, Fletcher Allen provides a full range of services covering every major area of medicine. The medical center averages more than a million patient visits each year, including inpatient, outpatient, emergency department and physician office visits.

Georgetown University Hospital—Washington, District of Columbia
Georgetown University Hospital (GUMC) is one of the Washington D.C.-metro area's largest academic medical centers. GUMC is comprised of the hospital (founded in 1898), a physician practice, a research enterprise, a nursing school, a cancer research center and an institute for neuroscience research. U.S. News & World Report has recognized Georgetown University Hospital as one of the nation's best hospitals. The 335-bed hospital sees more than 150,000 outpatient visits each year.

Harborview Medical Center—Seattle, Washington
Harborview Medical Center is a 368-bed patient care, teaching and research facility affiliated with the University of Washington School of Medicine. It is the only Level 1 trauma center in the Washington, Alaska, Montana and Idaho region and one of the largest burn centers in the United States. Harborview also features an AIDS research center, the Center for Sexual Assault & Traumatic Stress, a regional epilepsy center, and occupational health, mental health and rehabilitation medicine services.

Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania—Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
The Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania (HUP) was established in 1874 as the first university-teaching hospital in the United States. Today, the hospital continues that tradition. The Hospital of the University of Pennyslvania is a 515-bed nonprofit facility affiliated with the Pennsylvania School of Medicine, and for eight consecutive years has been named to the U.S. News and World Report Honor Roll.

Mayo Clinic Hospital—Phoenix, Arizona
Mayo Clinic Hospital was designed to provide state-of-the-art inpatient medical care with maximum efficiency in a patient-and-visitor-friendly environment. The facility has 202 licensed beds, including 166 medical/surgical beds, 20 intensive/critical care beds, seven rehabilitation beds and nine skilled nursing beds. Full emergency room services and urgent care are also provided at the hospital.

Northwestern Memorial Hospital—Chicago, Illinois
Northwestern Memorial is one of the nation's preeminent academic medical facilities, with centers of excellence in cardiovascular services, women's health, oncology, the neurosciences, orthopedics, transplantation, gastrointestinal disease, psychiatry and infectious diseases. Northwestern Memorial is home to a Level 1 adult trauma center and a Level III neonatal intensive care unit. Currently the NMH work force consists of more than 1,300 nurses and 700 allied health personnel.

Orlando Regional Healthcare System—Orlando, Florida
Orlando Regional Healthcare (ORH) is one of Florida's most comprehensive medical systems, offering a complete range of services in separate facilities in four counties. The system provides care in every specialty, from oncology to maternal to acute care. Its largest healthcare facility, Orlando Regional Medical Center, is a 517-bed tertiary care center and the only Level 1 Trauma Center in central Florida.

Presbyterian/St. Luke’s Medical Center—Denver, Colorado
Staffed by nearly 1,600 employees Presbyterian/St. Lukes is a leader in caring for high-acuity fetal, neonatal, pediatric and adult patients. Founded in 1881, this 680-bed tertiary care facility, located in the heart of Denver, Colorado, serves a seven-state region. The Presbyterian/St. Luke's Mother and Child Hospital, is a "hospital within a hospital" that provides patients all the specialized services of a children's hospital.

Scripps Health—San Diego, California
Scripps Health is a $1.3 billion, non-profit community health system, treating nearly a half-million patients annually through the dedication of more than 3,000 affiliated physicians and 10,500 employees spread across five acute care campuses, home health care services, and an ambulatory care network of clinics, physician offices and outpatient centers. Recognized as a world leader in the diagnosis and treatment of disease, Scripps is on the forefront of disease and injury prevention, clinical research and medical innovation and technology.

University of California San Diego Medical Center—San Diego, California
The University of California San Diego Medical Center offers two campus choices in San Diego: Hillcrest and La Jolla. The 440-bed UCSD Medical center in Hillcrest is the primary hospital for the UCSD School of Medicine. It offers a wide range of general and specialized services, a comprehensive organ transplant program, a regional burn unit and the National Institutes of Health-designated Clinical Research Center. The 120-bed Thornton Hospital in La Jolla is a general medical-surgical facility that also offers a full range of services in a comfortable, patient-centered environment.

University of Colorado Hospital—Denver, Colorado
Ranked among the best hospitals in the country by the U.S.News & World Report, the University of Colorado Hospital is renowned for its exceptional team of medical professionals, superior medicine and progressive change. University Hospital serves as the region's leading tertiary care and referral center, and is a designated Level 2 Trauma Center.
